Some Life Updates & Response to Editorial 11

Hello all, it has been a while since I've made a post on this blog, but I don't have a lot to post about. I have kind of fallen into a routine. I get up, go to work, come home, and repeat. Of course there has been the routine excitement in my life as well. As you all know, I have to buy food off of the black market, not only for me, but for my friends who are in the same situation as me. I have had a few close calls with being caught, but I have managed to stay inconspicuous from the Japanese government. I have been thinking, and I am starting to look for a second job. With everything happening in the world around me, I am wishing to stay as stable as possible. Oh, how I long to get back to my home in America....

America! How could I forget? I have heard all the talk of America advancing in Italy! This is great news, as it means the future is bright for all of the suffering people in concentration camps. It might even mean that I can come home! I think that if America keeps up their luck in Italy, it will carry them all the way to the heart of this: Nazi Germany. I hope and pray that everyone may be set free, especially Miss Anne Frank, a young girl who's posts I have thoroughly enjoyed reading!

I hope for more good news!
